Sleep
Sleeping is a state of natural rest observed in human. It is also a loss of consciousness that reduce the capacity of the body to hear. Some others say that sleep is a temporarily blindness and a reduction of body movement. But many psychic and paranormal expert conceives that when a person undergo to a sleeping process, the astral body of that person splits to his physical body which is called astral projection. This unconventional scenario does not happen to every person, maybe that person suffer from unpleasant emotional response, that is related to physiological causes such as high fever, psychological ones, such as unusual trauma or stress in the sleepers life. Another things is that it can be more painful to the part of the sleepers because it make him more unconscious or it can lead to hereditary problem.
Isi dan maksud dari mimpi tidak dapat dimengerti secara keseluruhan, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history.
Lucid Dreams?
Sleeping Troubles
Nightmares refers to a dream which causes the sleeper a strong unpleasant emotional response. Nightmares typically features fear or horror, and/or unconditional feelings that relinquish the emotional part of the dreamer. It is typically related to the condition that makes the dreamer feel any number of disturbing emotions in a nightmare, such as unwanted feelings such as anger, guilt, sadness or depression but the most common feelings of the dreamer is fears and anxiety. There are many causes of nightmares such as certain drugs and medication, that rapidly flows to the mainstream of physical body of the dreamer. Or it can be through physical condition such as illnesses or fever. Many people experience nightmares after they have suffered from a traumatic event, such as undergoing to medical operation, loss of loved one or closed friends, severe accident and any unacceptable matters that cause too much loneliness. Other people experience nightmares when they are undergoing stress in their waking lives, such as difficulty on job or unemployment or problem with a loved one, financial concerns, pregnancy, and etc.
Night Terrors are something quite different to nightmares. Nightmare tend to occur after several hours of sleep, screaming or moving about is very uncommon the dreamer’s dream is usually elaborate and intense, and the dreamers already know that he or she has a dream. While in night terrors, in the other hand, occur during the first hour or an hour and a half of sleep, loud screaming and thrashing is common, the sleepers is hard to awaken and arise from different stages of sleep. The causes of night terrors are not well understood or unknown. They may be associated with stress in adult or too much thinking of problems and social matters that affect the physiological mainframe.
People who have night terrors are often misdiagnosed. The most common one is a simple nightmare. Any of you who have had a night terror can say they aren’t even close! Another common misdiagnosis (especially among veterans) is PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. For this reason I have included a description of the difference between nightmares and night terrors.
Night Terrors Symptoms:
- Sudden awakening from sleep
- Persistent fear or terror that occurs at night
- Screaming
- Sweating
- Confusion
- rapid heart rate
- No recall of “bad dreams” or nightmares
- Unable to explain what happened
- May have a sense of frightening images
- No memory of the event when they awaken the next day
- Unable to fully wake up
- Difficult to comfort
Night Terror or Nightmare? Nightmares occur during the dream phase of sleep known as REM sleep. Most people enter the REM stage of sleep sometime after 90 minutes of sleep. The circumstances of the nightmare will frighten the sleeper, who usually will wake up with a vivid memory of a long movie-like dream. Night terrors, on the other hand, occur during a phase of deep non-REM sleep usually within an hour after the subject goes to bed. This is also known as stage 4. During a night terror, which may last anywhere from five to twenty minutes, the person is still asleep, although the sleepers eyes may be open. When the subject does wake up, they usually have no recollection of the episode other than a sense of fear. This, however, is not always the case. Quite a few people interviewed can remember portions of the night terror, and some remember the whole thing.
